J.C. Pillard is a writer and editor living in Colorado. She has an M.A. in English literature with a focus on eighteenth and nineteenth century Gothic from the University of Colorado at Boulder. J.C.'s short fiction and poetry have appeared in several publications including Metaphorosis, Electric Spec, and In the Wake of the Kraken, as well as having the cover story in Broadswords and Blasters Vol. 11. Her short story, “The Tick of the Clock,” was included in Tor’s “Must-Read Speculative Short Fiction for October 2021.”
Whatever time remains after editing and writing she spends reading and researching her next story.
